Key features:
LearnSmart Stand Alone:
- Book-specific titles are available
- Generic titles are available
- Students can use a registration code or purchase access online
- Included in some titles (not available in all courses)
- No registration required
- Connect registration automatically provides students with access to LearnSmart
- By looking up the Registration Code in SAT
- How are they getting there (i.e. What is the web site/address?")
- Did the student receive directions from instructor?

lEARNsMART sTAND-aLONE rEGISTRATION
- Navigate to Stand Alone
- Find Your Course (red button) or Buy/Sign-In Class (at top of page)
- See list of course to select from with various textbooks (to the left)
- Click Buy button (to right of text of choice)
- Enter Registration Code
- Type in e-mail you will use to register
- Click Submit
- Create Account
- Enter e-mail, password, and first and last name
- Enter School Info
- Enter Security Question
- Click I accept
- Click Complete My Registration
- Click link below
- Go into LearnSmart
- Sign in using e-mail and password used to create account
> If the instructor is using LearnSmart Stand-Alone, they will provide the sign up code to the students.
> If a student would like to use their account as a self-study tool, they can simply choose a deadline for the semester (or any date)
LearnSmart --- "Try" option
- Navigate to http://mhlearnsmart.com
- Click on the BUY/SIGN INTO YOUR COURSE button in the upper-right corner
- Click on Economics under ALL COURSES
- Locate Economics: Brief Edition, Second Ed. (McConnell, et al.) 2e
- Click on TRY
- Once LearnSmart launches in another window, click on TRY IT
- Fill out Required information (e-mail, password, first and last name)
- Click on YES, PLEASE SIGN ME UP
- Type in your name or you can click on APPEAR AS ANONYMOUS, then click OK
- If a pop-up video displays, click SKIP. Since your registration is now successful, log out.
- Select a date in the calendar
- You should now see a list of chapters, and only chapters 3 and 4 are available to you
